Transitioning to Fall Fashion
Posted on September 17 2015
It’s that fall feeling in the air….but we all know the Texas heat lingers (I’m not complaining about this). Finding clothes in between the cozy sweaters and our crop tops is often a challenge.
We’ve put together a few outfits to get you through this limbo season.
This outfit is composed of fun lighter fabrics that as temps start to drop, you can always count on it to keep you soft and cozy. Talk about transitional.
PIKOs are definitely one of fall’s must-haves. These light-weight, comfortable, stylish and affordable tops are extremely versatile. They’re so comfortable that you’ll want to grab every color you can find. The simplicity of the PIKO does not come off sloppy or like you just threw on any old thing because you were in a hurry.
The tribal flow vest has been a perfect layering tool this summer and will continue to be this summer with it’s neutral tan color.
It’s so easy to pile on layers after layers of clothes once fall officially starts. After all, we live for layers during fall, right? Well, if you’re transitioning from summer to fall, do it gradually (especially in Texas). Maybe sport that easy summer dress look you pull off so well and start by adding a vest then as it gets colder add more layers. Add a pair of booties rather than sandals.
Don’t put those tanks away just yet! Pair them with this cute denim top and your favorite skinnies. This Sun-Washed Chambray Top is truly a top for year-round styling. We love it over the Olive Cami and Freely Flourish Tank.
